Top Beach Body Tips to get the Best Beach Body!
For example, take the two pictures below. One is of a highly muscular bodybuilder with an extremely low body fat and the other is none other than the famous Matthew McConaughey.
If we we’re to make an assumption on a choice that the public would make when posed the question of “Who has a more appealing Beach Body” I think the general consensus would vote in favor of Matthew McConaughey’s body. But why is this? Clearly, this bodybuilder is in better shape with an abundance of muscle mass and a minute level of body fat has a better beach body that the light muscled Matthew McConaughey?! This is where we make our distinction of what is deemed an appealing Beach Body and a not-so appealing one. From this example, we can see that it’s not all about getting totally ripped muscles to have a great beach body. It’s more about taking advantage of a few things that make us ‘look’ like we’re in amazing condition. This you may be pleased to hear has NOTHING to do with grueling gym workouts! In a similar way to the example above, two overweight men with the same amount of body fat, muscle mass and height may well have very different beach bodies. Why is this you might ask? Well one might be pasty white, with dark hair covering his back along with nasty zits all over where as the other may have smooth and clear Mediterranean bronzed skin. So, from this rather crude example you can clearly understand the difference and which individual would be less of an eye sore on the beach. Now, let’s take about the aspects outside of the gym that you should take control of. 1 – Tan This makes a huge difference to people who have by race, a naturally white skin color. Personally, from being white and living in a cold and wet climate (even in Summer!) my body is exposed to very little sun as I, along with many others, usually stay wrapped up 350 out of the 365 days of the year due to the adverse weather. Consequently, my body stays pale white all year around. Of course, this doesn’t help much during summer as I’m so white one would almost need sunglasses to look at me (Yes, this had been said to me!). This doesn’t mean to say that I’m not in great shape. What it means is that I don’t have the best beach body! So, how do we rectify this? Well there are a few options available for men and women. These include tanning beds, swimming outdoors, water sports outdoors and fake tan if you’re a woman or a man who has no shame in doing so.
2 – Skin Usually, the Diet is the best way to go about improving the look and texture of the skin. The main things I would advocate is; Drinking enough water Taking a fish & flaxseed oil supplement Eating 5 fruit and veg per day (especially carrots & Berries) Cups of Green Tea These 4 Tips are proven to keep the skin Clear, youthful and Healthy-Looking
3
– Body Hair
This one is for men in particular. A bit of light chest hair is perfectly acceptable on the beaches or out and about during the summer time. However, if it’s coming up over your shoulder and onto back it’s probably worth while taking out the body groomer or seeing your local hair removal expert. 4 – Exfoliation Get into the habit of exfoliating your skin to remove dead skin cells that accumulate especially on your back. 5 –Cellulite Cellulite is a sequence of ripples of fat cells and subcutaneous connective tissue under the skin. Usually found on the lower body, particularly in women, probably because of a difference in cell structure between the two genders. You can reduce Cellulite by reducing caffeine, alcohol, highly saturated fats and increasing water and fruit intake. These few topics are all subject to how you feel. If you think you think need any of the advice and feel that you happy to expose you body then go right ahead, good for you! However, if you feel your Beach Body could do with some improving then it’s worth while taking some of the Beach Body Tips above on board. Return to Body2Shape Homepage |
