There’s no question that it’s difficult to have an appetizing meal when trying to stick to a fat burning Diet. In some cases people even become sick of eating due to the rigidity of consuming mundane and tasteless fat burning meals over and over again.
However, from my experience you can actually create some delicious dishes while still not blowing the bank with regard to your calorie intake. While these fat burning food recipes may not be practical to make every day they are certainly worthwhile if you’re looking for something different to eat during the week or over the weekend.
While these meals may be a bit higher in carbohydrates and fats than you are usually used to having in your fat Loss diet during the week they are still extremely healthy. The Carbohydrate sources are all Low Glycometric and the fat are high in poly unsaturated which means that if you’re servings are limited you’ll still be on track for losing fat.
Another great thing about these recipes is you don’t have to have the culinary skills of Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen to enjoy these simple meals. Personally, I never was a great chef. For this reason I’ve made all the recipes as straight forward as possible.
Chicken and Mushroom Risotto
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups fat-free chicken or vegetable broth
2 tsp olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp mixed dried herbs
6 ounces cremini mushroom, sliced
6 ounces shiitake mushrooms, sliced
1 cup Arborio rice
1/2 cup dry white wine, warmed
2 cups fresh baby spinach
1/4 cup fresh parsley
2 tsp olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp mixed dried herbs
6 ounces cremini mushroom, sliced
6 ounces shiitake mushrooms, sliced
1 cup Arborio rice
1/2 cup dry white wine, warmed
2 cups fresh baby spinach
1/4 cup fresh parsley
Procedure:

Here are the ingredients you will need.

The 2 types of mushrooms sliced, along with the garlic and onion minced and chopped respectively.

Saute the onions and the garlic in a pan until slightly brown. Add mixed herbs during frying.

Grill the chicken in the meantime.

Add the mushroom and fry for a further 5-10mins.

Add the rice.

Add the wine and cook until it has evaporated.
Keep adding cup fulls of broth one at a time until each evaporates. This is time consuming but is essentail to get the rice nice and tender.

Spaghetti and Broccoli Bake
Ingredients:
Olive Oil
1 Chopped Onion
Low fat cheddar cheese
300 grams of broccoli florets
300 grams of spaghetti
600mls of low fat milk
25 grams of plain flour
25 grams of butter
400 grams of chopped tomatoes

Procedure:
- Cook the spaghetti and broccoli in seperate pots in boiling water for 12 mins each.
- Fry the onions until brown and then add the can of tomatoes.
- Mix the milk and the flour and cook until hot. Then add some grated cheese to it and stir.

- Add the cooked broccoli to the spaghetti and stir.
- Stir in 3/4 of the milk to the spaghetti and broccoli.
- Lastly, stir in the pasta sauce.
- Place in a baking tray and top with low fat cheese if you wish.

The finsihed product!

Spanish omelet with mushroom
Ingredients:
1 small potato, sliced
1 small onion, diced
4 eggs
Salt
Olive oil

Procedure:
- Pierce the potatoes and microwave for 8 minutes and then chop into 8 pieces.
- Crack the eggs in bowl and whisk with a small amount of milk.
- Chop the onions.
- Now throw the eggs, onions and potatoes into a frying pan with a bit of olive oil or some 1 Calories spray.
- Let cool on a high heat until the eggs are still runny on top. At this point place the omlette under the grill on the frying pan until the top half of it is golden brown.
