Prevent getting a Fat Belly with a Diet to Lose Belly Fat

Don’t sweat it if you’re getting a fat belly! There really isn’t a whole lot to getting rid of belly fat despite what many supplement companies and Fat loss magazines and so on would like you to be believe. It’s really quite simple and most of the time it boils down to two things – Diet and belly fat exercises.

getting-a-Fat-BellyNow I know that many people shudder at the very words Diet and Exercise but in actual fact they need not be so dreadful. When we think of the word Diet we usually concoct images of eating unsubstantial celery sticks and tasteless rice cakes for weeks on end till we’re starved with hunger and everyone including the dog has gotten a blast of our mood swing.

However, a diet to lose belly fat shouldn’t be thought of in this depressing way. You should instead remember the word Diet with the word Deficit. What I mean by this is that all Diets should provide a Calorie deficit so that your body will adapt to the less Calories it’s being supplied with.

Consequently, you’ll being to reduce belly fat if this Calorie deficit is adhered to over the space of a few weeks,  months or years depending on how much belly fat you have to lose.

Your deficit should be 500 Calories below your Calorie intake for maintenance of bodyweight. You must know the Calories of the food you are eating if this is to work so, know the amount of Calories you’re consuming every day.

So our no.1 rule is;

Eat Less for a Calorie Deficit!

Make Small Changes

It really doesn't take some people a whole lot to change their lifestyle into a healthy one. Take for example the person who drinks 2 liters of soft drinks, eats 3-4 chocolates bars and some fried chicken every day. This is considered unhealthy.

However, replace the soft drinks with water, the chocolate with fruit and the fried chicken with lean meat or salmon and then BAM you have a healthy and better looking person who’ll eliminate belly fat in no time!

Think of something you could replace in your belly fat diet for a better, healthier alternative!

Eating Habits to prevent Belly Fat

I really do think, significant fat loss is achieved by maintaining discipline and dedication especially through the first 2 weeks of a Fat Loss regime. I believe this period is point where you just have to "step up to the plate".

The first 2 weeks are always the hardest as it’s the point where you are tested the most. However, after this point you’re new lifestyle changes begin to become habit and things tend to get that little be easier.
