because carbohydrates per gram have an abundance of energy which if

goals to get ripped abs.This is why it is particularly important late at night to avoid carbohydrate based food because this is commonly the time in which are most inactive due to settling done on the couch and then sleeping. Instead opt for a food with a good protein source with little energy in comparison to carbohydrates or fat. These meals can be something like salmon\chicken with asparagus, broccoli or mangetonte, cottage cheese and rivita or egg whites.
