Quite frankly I’ve never bought protein bars! At €2-3 per bar sold individually, I simply found them too expensive. However, on the plastic wrapped they do look delicious and happen to contain a whole lot of protein which makes them quite appealing.
Consequently, I decided to make my own Protein bars and save myself the expense!Below I list out a few Protein Bar recipes that I’ve experimented with and found appetizing. Personally, I not much for meal replacement shakes during the day and would much rather opt for solid food like anyone of these bars.
If you find yourself without time to sit down and eat during the day why not make a batch of these Protein bars to get your protein and calories fix.
As you can see from below are of the bars are made with high protein bar recipe in mind. This makes them perfect also for strenght and power based athletes who require large amounts of protein per day.
