is my Body Shape?
You can Determine Body Shape by
the proportions of the human body in
relation to each other. There are 4 female body shapes. The ruler,
apple, hourglass and the Pear Body Shape.
Body Shape is as result
of genetics and is also influenced
by the nutrition and level of activity you had in the past, especially
whilst
in your early years when you are developing.

Men tend to have a simple
cone or rectangular appearance.
However, women body shapes develop more complexly.
The variation of Body
Shapes between Men and especially for women
make it an essential aspect of your fitness goals to consider before
making out Diets and fat loss workout routines. This will
ensure that your weight loss is done as fast and effective as possible.
What
is my Body Shape?
Strolling down a busy
street or around a mall you will
notice from body shape analysis that many people have different
proportions –a large lower
bodied person
with narrow shoulders, a straight plank like individual, a heavy set
female
with slender legs- the list goes on.
It
was then
established that women can be categorized into four Body Shapes:
Hourglass body shape
Women with an hourglass Body Shape are fortunate to have good
proportion between their upper and lower
bodies, with a distinctively narrow waist.
However, if you are an
hourglass, you may find that you tend to gain weight all over your
body, particularly in your hips and chest area. The Hourglass Body
Shape tend to have an
endomorph or mesomorph Body Type.
Pear body shape
Pear-shaped women frequently have large lower bodies with a smaller
upper
body. Weight gain is usually problematic around the thighs and hips.
Pears usually have petite chests and flat stomachs.
Apple
body shape
Apples are usually larger on the upper half of their bodies as oppose
to the the
bottom half. Slim hips and large chests and
stomachs are common for Apples.
Apples tend to gain weight above the
waist. The bulk of apples are mesomorphs or endomorphs.
Ruler
body shape
Women with a ruler shape tend to be slim. Rulers have no major
differences between the size of their hips, waists, and
shoulders.
It
no revelation that not everyone is content with the Body Shape that
they are born with. While it may not be possible to change your Body
Shape it is possible to alter it to a point where you happy with it.
